Alma College Athletics joins the Women's Sports Foundation in celebrating National Girls and Women in Sports Day (NGWSD). NGWSD recognizes student-athletes, champion athletes, coaches, administrators and lawmakers committed to providing equitable access to sports for all girls and women.

To celebrate, we will be hosting multiple events throughout the day to celebrate past, current, and future Scots in sports. The schedule of events and registration information can be found below. 

Dance Clinic

The event is 9:00 am-11:00 am and there is a fee of $25. This includes a t-shirt and a free ticket to the basketball games.  Please note there is a separate link to register for this event.

Sports Stations

Girls ages 4-13 will have the opportunity to try different sports with current Alma College student-athletes.

This event is 11:30 am-1:00 pm and is free and open to the public. Participants will be able to attend the basketball games for free. 

Alumni Reception

Alma Women's College Athletics alumni are invited to attend a light reception prior to the women's basketball game against Kalamazoo College to celebrate women in sports.

This event is 11:30 am-1:00 pm and is free and open to all former female student-athletes, coaches, and families. Participants will be able to attend the basketball games for free.

All interested in attending the alumni reception must register by January 20, 2023, at 12pm.
